Afternoon Workshops
2pm – 3.30pm Song workshop; then a choice of one hour workshops:
1.'Women's Lives, Women's Songs' : Peta Webb and Sandra Kerr sing and
talk about women's lives reflected in song - plus bring your own favourites
to share.
2. Dancing and Singing: Rosie Davis will teach Appalachian Step dance
for beginners and beyond, Janet Russell will teach a song to dance to
with harmony and rhythm.
Evening - concert with Sisters Unlimited
Sisters Unlimited are Sandra Kerr, Janet Russell, Peta Webb and Rosie
Davis (a sparkling dancer). They are four fantastic female vocalists who
have had tremendous performance and recording careers - as soloists, with
a variety of other performers, and together as Sisters Unlimited. Their
CDs "No Limits " (Harbourtown), "No Bed of Roses"
(Fellside) and the upcoming " No Change of Heart " combine traditional
songs with hardhitting political material highlighting women's issues.
