The
Nerve magazine continue their campaign to raise awareness of what losing
free public library services would mean for Liverpool people with an art
and culture event at Wavertree Library on Picton Road.
Nerve Centre On Tour
Wavertree Library, Picton Road
Saturday 29th September 2012 from 10am - 4pm
Admission is FREE
Featured performers include:-
Bolshy: see interview on
Lunacorona:
Socialist Singers:
and Graculus.
There will also be a discussion run by Philosophy In Pubs (PIPS), titled
'The Art Industry And The Liverpool Biennial', plus artwork, poetry and

"Libraries are a fantastic resource in the heart of the local community,"
said Ritchie Hunter from Nerve. "We have seen this service reduced
recently and we could lose them altogether.
"By staging these events," he added," Nerve will raise
the profile of libraries, involve people from the area in cultural activities
and help create a sense of ownership of these public spaces."
Further Nerve Centre events will take place at:
Spellow, County Road on 24th November
