Arts Festival Launch

Amid the magnificent setting of the Sefton Park Palm House the sixth annual Liverpool Arts Festival was launched on Sunday 1st July.
The large crowd present enjoyed live music, dance, workshops, stalls and delicious Middle Eastern food.
Many events are taking place throughout Liverpool during the festival's two-week run, which will feature musicians and artists from Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon and Palestine, as well as from Europe and the USA.
The festival runs until 15 July 2007.
