John Hegley, back in Liverpool - one his favourite stomping grounds -
turned in a highly amusing and original comic performance, which must
surely prove one of the highlights of the .
Interacting constantly with the audience at the Unity, his blend of wacky
poetry, mandolin playing and offbeat comic turns left the audience in
raptures.

talents, you knew it would be very much different from the last time he
performed it here.
His subject matters ranged from obese mates to Jimmy Greaves.
