Back to index of Nerve 11 - Winter 2007 | Merseyside Resistance Calendar March March 1978: Ring Road Protest Group formedfrom: Homes Not Roads After the Kingsway Tunnel was built, the area around Scotland Road became segregated into units by the feeder roads to this and to the Queensway Tunnel. Proposals to build an inner city ring road would have led to a worsening of the already poor living conditions.
