Max Zadow
Max Zadow is a film-maker and artist who has exhibited video art in the
last three Liverpool Art Biennials, including at Jump Ship Rat and at
FACT.
He works for Liverpool-based new media company Ontecha, as a trainer and
producer, and has directed four short films and worked on a variety of
interactive projects.
His short films include 'Olympia', which draws on the work of painter
Manet and animator Robert Crumb to tell a narrative about disability and
sexuality; 'Dadafest', a documentary piece exploring the popular disability
arts festival held every year in Liverpool; and 'Another Green World '.
"Another Green World is a video hybrid," stated Max. "It
is about virtual space exploring environmental messages within the context
of The Tempest."
Max has been disabled since childhood and has arthritis, which affects
his mobility.
He is trained and experienced in editing, Mini-DV camera work, 3D modelling
and animation.
