Terry Kane

Terry Kane always paints in oils, mainly on canvas. He also does pen and ink drawings and has several notebooks of them.

The dimensions of his paintings vary from 2' x 2' to 6' x 3'.

His influences are varied but a major one is the work of the German expressionists.

Kane has exhibited his work over the past ten years - all staged in Liverpool - at the Academy of Arts, the Urban Coffee Lounge - both solo shows - and in group exhibitions held at the Egg café, Artspeq gallery, Trading Places café and the Grapes bar.

He works in a studio at home but previously had his own studios in Liverpool city centre.

His next exhibition will be held at the Unity Theatre, together with the work of Sue Lucine, beginning on April 4.
