New works by Paul Romano at Editions
Exhibition runs until 26th October 2013

Somewhere between painting and collage lies the work of this prolific young artist. Always colourful and varied in size and nature, the themes of the pieces vary but there is an underlying industrial feel throughout.

This is the third year that a show by Paul Romano has been the first in the important Autumn season, at Editions gallery, and, even by the time of the Private Viewing, some had already sold - quite a testament to the respect and appreciation he attracts in these difficult financial times.

Scraps of textures and other items mix with applied paint to create an impression of the environment that inspired and informed each piece. Ancient sites and symbolism combine with found objects to create a new, and confident environment, which obviously communicates itself to a wide variety of audiences. He has works in London, New York and the Far East, though seldom exhibiting outside the North West of England.

This is an unusual exhibition featured by the ever-innovative Editions, and is well worth a visit.
