The Limerick Soviet – A Forgotten Revolution
This April marked 100 years since the ‘Soviet of Limerick’, a 2 week revolution sparked by the British imposition of martial law. Three members of Liverpool Socialist Singers went over to sing Alun Parry’s song ‘Limerick Soviet’ at the centenary events, and to commemorate this important piece of revolutionary history.
